Museo Stibbert
Florence
Frederick Stibbert (1838-1906) was an eccentric British collector, very fond of weapons and armours. The castle like Museum is filled with suits of armors, medals and flags of almost every country. Indian and Japanese uniforms and do not miss the Sala della Cavalcata with a caravan of 14 knights from the 16th century all dressed in Spanish, German and other European armours.
There is also a space with a collection of beautiful porcelain and ceramics.
It is a great place to visit for kids and family.
