This place is beyond amazing. My husband had the chefs selection steak and. I had the Florence risotto. The wine Pascual so thoughtful and attentive and he picked for us a wine bottle that was the best we’ve had in Italy. We have traveled the world and ate in all places and this is #1. The service is top notch. I would recommend the place 1000%. The vibe and music Amelia played made it extra special. WOW !!!!!!!!
We had the Tomahawk steak and the quality of the meat was excellent. It was cooked perfectly and was one of the better meals we had in Florence. The only disappointment was the communication around the weight. We were told there was a 1 kg minimum when we tried to order 400 g, but the steak served was 1.2 kg (€138 for the steak alone). It would have been appreciated if the exact weight and price had been confirmed before cooking, as that extra 200 g added another €23 to the bill. The total came to €177 with sides and drinks. The food was very good, but clearer communication about the final weight and cost would make the experience much better.
Honestly this was my first stop in Florence and I immediately knew all the food was going to be incredible! I was literally closing my eyes to savor every bite. Obsessed with the steak I got and those crispy potatoes! The staff was so kind and offered plenty of limoncello to round out the meal. I loved every bite and sip and wanted to come back but only had a couple nights in town. 5/5 DEF RECOMMEND!
Well rounded menu, the flavors and presentations are just slightly above average. The risottos are slightly dry, the sliced steak was good and the t-bone is quite the production. Our spritz’s were flavorful and cold and the house Chianti well suited for any portion of the meal. I’d recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The restaurant directly faces the duomo, it’s a busy area.
We came in with high expectations after reading the great reviews, but this restaurant exceeded every single one. The food was outstanding. We started with the tartare, which absolutely melted in our mouths, and followed it with the cacio e pepe—perfectly balanced and incredibly delicious. The service was just as impressive. Every server was attentive and kind, and Mimmo in particular made the evening unforgettable. His warmth and care elevated the entire experience and guaranteed that we’ll be back again before we leave Florence. An easy 5+ out of 5.
