Absolutely an amazing restaurant. We came here for dinner two nights in a row and they hosted the World Cup games. The ambiance was incredible! The food was fantastic! Drinks and food are reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place.
The staff were really impatient and dismissive. Food is just ok. Location is good. But you can also find many other restaurants outside the cathedral that have great food and nice staff.
This was the best steak dinner I can remember. In addition the service was excellent and value was great. I would recommend this to anyone asking me. Thanks to the chefs and staff for making this an enjoyable evening.
Excellent food and really good service. Had heard about the Florentine steak and it just happened they had as their menu special a Florentinedinner for two. We ordered our steak medium, but they recommend medium rare to rare, and it can more on the medium rare side of medium, but the center was very warm, and was delicious. The meal was excellent. I would recommend making a reservation for your preferred time because it can be very busy since it is right next to the Duomo and near the Baptistery in Florence. It is a great restaurant to try if in Florence and visiting this historic area!
This was probably the first restaurant where I didn’t complain about how awful the food tastes. This is also the first restaurant I’ve ever been to where I ordered 2 main dishes because the first was that good. I’ve been to several different cities in Italy on different occasions and I’ve always been disappointed with the food. Either too bland or too salty. I’m Asian American and from SoCal so I’m used to seasoning in my food other than salt…. This place absolutely delivered. Even my boyfriend ordered a second main dish. Ravioli with Truffle - SO creamy and generous with the truffle flakes. However, this felt more like an appetizer. Only 6 pieces of ravioli??? But would absolutely order again. Seafood Spaghetti - Initially doubtful about this until I took a bite. Very generous with the clams. Very seafood-buttery flavored. Delicious. Penne Pesto - This was one of my bf’s choices. I only took a small bite. Still too salty for my tastebuds, but way less salty compared to other pasta I had elsewhere. Good flavor. He enjoyed it but wouldn’t order again. Pasta also a little too firm for our liking though. Service was slow but our waiter was all over the place because it was very busy.
