The atmosphere is banging!! Feels like local, and the cheese wheel pasta is the best dish I have ever had in Italy. Love it so much. Generously portioned black truffle, much better value than Crazy Pizza in London. Tiramisu is so delish. Highly recommended! I will come back again. Excellent service as well, there is a super helpful and friendly server called Denis. 10/10 must try!
Excellent food and great service from start to finish. We had the T-bone steak, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the pici cacio e pepe prepared in the cheese wheel, which was absolutely delicious. The cheese wheel presentation made it a fun and memorable dining experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helped make the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for both the quality of the food and the overall experience.
Excellent Tuscan food and a great atmosphere. We tried the pappardelle with wild boar ragù, pici with truffle and sausage, ribollita, and the filet with gorgonzola, brandy, and walnuts. Every dish was delicious and full of flavor. The service was friendly and professional. One of the best dining experiences we had in Florence. Highly recommended.
The place feels quite touristy, and despite its high rating, we left a bit disappointed. It wasn’t terrible, but definitely not worthy of a 4.7 rating. We ordered pasta with clams, ravioli, and tiramisu. The pasta with clams was the biggest letdown, most of the clams were empty (see photo), and the dish lacked depth of flavor, tasting mostly like garlic and olive oil. The truffle ravioli was better, but they only served five pieces, which felt overpriced for what you get. The only dish that truly impressed us was the tiramisu. It was slightly richer and heavier than the traditional version, but still delicious. Service was average at best. We were given three pieces of bread and charged €6 for it, and they even forgot our tiramisu order at first (even though we only ordered three items) The 2 real positive things were: 1) The interior: cozy, with a nice authentic charm. 2) generous portion of Parmesan served with pasta. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
This is an amazing gem in the heart of Florence. We had the chef's special to start with a selection of meats and cheese which was well curated and delicious. The Buffalo mozzarella was a standout, but all the meats and cheeses were delicious. We especially loved the sweet onion jam. For mains, try the gnocchi gorgonzola, strozzapreti osteria and the house specialty pici cacio e pepe prepared at the table. The tiramisu was outstanding. The host Chris was amiable and warm. We were also drooling over the amazing steaks that we didn't order. You won't be disappointed.
