On this small-group wine tour, you’ll visit two wineries to taste the renowned Chianti Classico DOCG, and the crisp Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, one of Italy’s most historic white wines. The day begins with a scenic drive through the rolling hills and vineyards of Chianti. Along the way, you’ll stop in the medieval town of San Gimignano, famous for its towers and rich winemaking tradition. Later, you’ll continue through the Tuscan countryside, with its breathtaking landscapes dotted with medieval villages, castles, and olive groves. At two boutique wineries, you’ll explore cellars, learn about traditional and modern winemaking techniques, and taste a selection of Chianti and Vernaccia.
