Enter the Accademia Gallery in Florence with a reserved entry ticket and admire one of the world’s most renowned sculptures, Michelangelo’s David, and some of his other works. Use the digital audioguide to discover the Gallery at your own pace. Enter the gallery from a special entrance, avoiding the ticket office line. Once inside, view Michelangelo’s statue of David and some of his unfinished works that reveal his carving skill in the main hall. Visit the Gipsoteca (Hall of Models) where you can see original plaster models by 19th-century Florentine sculptors. Also, appreciate original musical instruments from the Medici collection, including 3 by Stradivarius. Proceed to the painting galleries of the museum and see artworks by medieval and Renaissance artists. Go to the top floor to admire magnificent medieval altarpieces before finishing your exploration.
