Experience a full day in the iconic landscape of the 'sweet hills of Chianti,' surrounded by cypress avenues, sunflower fields, and medieval villages. Explore the historic center of San Gimignano with its ancient towers, followed by a delightful lunch featuring homemade pasta or lasagna and a tasting of six of the region's finest wines at a typical Tuscan farmhouse. Itinerary: • The expert driver will pick you up at your location for a private tour (hotel, B&B, or private apartment) and take you on a journey through the rolling hills of Tuscany. The first stop is Piazzale Michelangelo, offering breathtaking views of Florence. Capture beautiful photos of the city before continuing through the sweet Chianti hills, passing olive groves, cypress trees, and vineyards, en route to the medieval town of San Gimignano. • The second stop is San Gimignano, where you'll enjoy a self-guided tour. Spend about an hour exploring the town and its magnificent towers. Known as the 'Town of Fine Towers,' San Gimignano was home to over 70 towers during the Middle Ages. Today, it serves as a real open-air museum, providing a glimpse into medieval life. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the renowned gelato at Gelateria Dondoli in the main square and appreciate the craftsmanship of local artisans. • After the visit to San Gimignano, the tour continues along one of the most beautiful 'Tuscan Wine Roads,' with a stop among the vineyards for picturesque photos. For lunch, you'll arrive at a biodynamic winery farm for a tour, a three-course meal, and wine tastings. • The farm is dedicated to promoting Italian wine and food culture worldwide. Enjoy an immersive experience learning about wine and food pairings, glass etiquette, secrets of Italian cuisine, Tuscan wine-making techniques, and more. Indulge in a three-course lunch featuring homemade pasta, bruschettas, cold cuts, Pecorino cheese, prosciutto, salami, and more. • Wine tastings include Chianti, Chianti Riserva, Sangiovese, Vernaccia, Super Tuscan, as well as tastings of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Pepper Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, and Truffle Olive Oil. • The return is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
