The building, built at the end of the year 1200, holds a vast array of icons and items that belong to the Medici family. Inside, you can visit the Halls of the Government of the Republic, the rooms of the Grand Ducal Family, the 'Sala dei Gigli', the 'Sala delle Mappe Geografiche' and the Sala of the last Chancellor of the Republic'. Prepare yourself for the main attraction, the Salone dei 500, entirely frescoed by Giorgio Vasari. After the guided tour you'll have the possibility to return even during the days following the visit, to explore the museum again freely since the entrance ticket does not have an expiration date.Includes
