Discover Florence with a 1.5-hour walking tour through its historic center, along a route of about 3 kilometers, easy and suitable for everyone. The tour starts from Piazza della Repubblica, the modern heart of Florence and the city's meeting point since Roman times. From here, you'll reach Piazza del Duomo, where you'll find Brunelleschi's extraordinary dome, Giotto's bell tower, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni, one of the city's oldest monuments. Continue along Via dei Calzaiuoli, the ancient street of the artisan guilds, to reach Piazza della Signoria, the political and symbolic center of Florence, dominated by Palazzo Vecchio and surrounded by Renaissance sculptures such as Cellini's Perseus and Michelangelo's David (copy). The route continues along the Uffizi Gallery, passing under the Vasari Corridor, to the famous Ponte Vecchio, one of the most photographed bridges in the world, with its characteristic goldsmith shops.
