Description
This tour will make you explore the Chianti roads and fantastic landscapes with vineyards and olive groves. We start from our bike depot in Florence, after a briefing about the itinerary of the day. Once we arrive in the Chianti area, we get to see one of the best views of Florence from above that only locals know. The bike ride then continues further into the Chianti Classico hills up to reaching a wine estate where you will enjoy a typical Tuscan multi-course lunch with wine and olive oil tasting. There, you see how their wine and olive oil are made and stored. A farm visit will also be included, where you will sample both olive oil and wine. Tuscan multi-course lunch is a highlight at a local traditional family-run Chianti farm. Purchase and shipping of both wine and oil are available from the vineyard. The return ride to Florence is mostly downhill, getting you back to the starting point no later than 4:30 pm. You'll have the chance to experience the authentic Tuscan atmosphere as we pass through charming local towns before immersing ourselves in the picturesque countryside. There are hills to climb (for a regularly trained rider, it's an easy ride, but for the average person it can be very challenging - it's a 35km/22 miles ride with 460mt elevation gain. You can ask in advance if E-bikes are available).Includes
