Description

Take a break from the tourist crowds in Florence and venture into the Tuscan countryside to forge jewelry at a local workshop—a one-of-a-kind experience. Design and forge your own individuell wedding or friendship rings in an unforgettable workshop in my historic and airconditioned studio in the heart of Tuscany. In this half-day workshop you will learn how to craft a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry from scratch with the guidance of a craft instructor: from melting the metal to polishing the finished piece. Experience the goldsmith tradition of Tuscany first hand and create in a special day your personal ring. A creative jewelry making experience half an hour from Florence Create a bespoke piece of jewelry step-by-step with an artisan. You don't need any knowlege. I will also show you how to melt and solder silver or gold. You can also bring family jewelry that we can give a new life to together. You roll plates yourself or pull wire, depending on what you want to create. Then we do the sawing, filing, hammering, sanding and polishing until the piece of jewelry is finished. In between there is a very good local snack to eat and you can drink coffee, tea and water. You only need to bring along the desire to create something with your own hands: everyone is able to do it! All partecipants are always enthusiastic about their results!

All the material you need to work, such as using the roller, all the saw blades, the propane gas we need for melting and soldering, sandpaper and all the other tools you need to work. You need round about 3 gramms for a ring The silver price is actually € 3,5/gramm If you like to work with gold I have to know it before because I have to provide the gold. The goldprice is actually € 110/gramm You can bring you own metal, for example old jewelry that is no longer worn but has an emotional value: you can give it a new life
