Amazing food and very attentive staff. Great experience all in all. The pasta was fresh and delicious.
Delicious food and friendly service. This local restaurant is no doubt a favorite in the neighborhood. The burrata with orange slices and the gnocchi with Gorgonzola were both delicious! Paired with a couple glasses of classic Chianti it was the perfect light dinner for two.
One the best restaurants I went to in Florence by far. Everything was delicious, the restaurant is beautiful for a nice dinner, and the service was friendly and quick. Completely recommend, wish I can come back soon.
A wonderful Tuscan dinner at Antico Bottaio. We shared the burrata al tartufo to start — rich, indulgent, and just the right size for two. The pici cacio e pepe was the highlight of the evening: proper hand-rolled Tuscan pici with a bold, peppery pecorino sauce that we couldn't stop eating. Simple, local, and perfectly executed. A special mention for Roni, who looked after us brilliantly — warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout. Made the whole evening feel personal rather than just another tourist dinner.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. We came for lunch and dinner in the same day because we liked the atmosphere here. The service was excellent, the recommendations were on point. The service staff made sure we enjoyed our food and checked in on us regularly. The octopus was well done and well salted, very nice. The truffle pasta was al dente and the gravy paired well. We returned the same evening and ordered the florentine steak (medium rare). Lovely cut of the beef and very tasty. We liked the fillet part of the cut! Overall highly recommend!
