Loved the old-world charm of Ristorante Il Paoli. The historic setting is absolutely beautiful and gives the restaurant such a warm and authentic atmosphere. The classic Florentine dishes were delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, with simple, quality ingredients that really let the traditional flavors shine. Everything was beautifully prepared and made for such an enjoyable meal. A wonderful place to experience traditional Florentine cooking in a setting with so much history and character.
One of the best restaurants we've ever visited! Our server, Filippo, provided exceptional service and was so genuinely kind. He recommended an amazing wine that paired perfectly with our meal. Everything was absolutely delicious, and Filippo made our evening truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!
I was pleasantly surprised to find a high-quality menu printed in perfect Korean—such a thoughtful touch! From the food and service to the atmosphere and even the reservation process, everything was excellent. The Vongole pasta was absolutely delicious, and it paired perfectly with the beer. The complimentary bread was also fantastic. The grilled vegetables were a little salty, but they still complemented the meal well. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was calm without feeling too quiet or dull. The interior design was simply stunning. I'd definitely love to come back!
Since this place is so famous among tourists, I didn't have huge expectations—but the food and service were both outstanding. The Florentine T-bone steak was flavorful, tender, and fresh. The salad and pasta were also delicious. A special shoutout to our waiter, Filippo, who made our evening wonderful. His service was top-notch; he recommended a great wine, kept our glasses topped up, and kindly explained everything about the dishes and wine pairings. If you are visiting Florence, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Hello. I am writing this review for everyone in the world especially the worker Flippo. I wanted to say that all of the food was great 👍 👌. The steak was really good and it was crispy, tender, and juicy 😋. It wasn't like those other restaurants where there was a bunch of fat all around the steak. This steak had fat on the side of the steak which makes it way better. Also, my parents loved the tomato, cheese 🧀, olive oil, and wine. The waiters were amazing and a waiter named Flippo played rock 🪨 paper 📃 scissors ✂️ with me. I didn't get to check the bathroom to see if it was good or bad. But I hope it's good because everything else was fantastic. Also, here's the cool 😎 thing. My mom hates cheese but this cheese was so good she couldn't even taste it.
