We had dinner tonight at Osteria Vecchio Vicolo, located at Via Lambertesca 16R. The restaurant’s decor is exceptionally creative, you feel as though you’re dining in a charming alleyway in Naples rather than inside a restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, authentic, and full of character. The food was outstanding. We ordered two different pasta dishes, and both were absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. Combined with the unique ambiance and excellent service, it made for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended !!!
We had a wonderful dinner at this Italian restaurant. The mussels were delicious, and the lobster pasta was excellent — the lobster tasted very fresh. A special thanks to Sosso, who was incredibly friendly and provided great service throughout the meal. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience, and I would definitely recommend this place!🫶🫶
Returning here after 3 years and finding the food just as incredible, if not even better, was such a special experience. This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Florence. The Fagotti Cacio e Pere is genuinely one of the most memorable and unique pasta dishes I’ve ever had. The balance of creamy pecorino, pear, honey, nuts, and fruit sounds unusual on paper, but somehow every flavor comes together perfectly. It’s a dish I still remembered years later and was excited to order again the moment I came back. The service was fantastic from start to finish, and the atmosphere is equally unforgettable. The restaurant sits on a quiet street that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a smaller Italian town away from the crowds, which adds so much charm to the experience. Even the limoncello stood out, served ice cold in chilled glasses, which made it feel extra refreshing and authentic. Everything about this place feels thoughtful, warm, and genuinely special. Easily a 5-star experience and a restaurant I’ll recommend to anyone visiting Florence.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic! I had an amazing dinner at Osteria Vecchio Vicolo. The lobster pasta was perfectly cooked — the noodles were wonderfully al dente, and the lobster was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The pork knuckle was another highlight: so tender and fall-off-the-bone soft, with rich, savory flavors that were just right. We also ordered the sautéed spinach as a side dish, and it was surprisingly sweet and fresh — a perfect complement to the meal. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Highly recommend this place — will definitely come back!
INCREDIBLE. Simply amazing. Everything was perfect! The food was excellent, the service was excellent, cannot recommend this place enough!! Prices were also really good. Not to be missed if you are in Florence!
