Great sandwiches! 🔥🥳 I recommend sharing a sandwich since they are huge. Fresh bread and fresh ingredients are definitely worth the wait and hype. They need to communicate a bit better in regards to who is serving their customers, but overall, I guess that’s part of the vibe. Will definitely try one again for lunch and skip breakfast and dinner 😂
The sandwiches here are pretty good and great value for money. You don’t get the love and enthusiasm you get from the smaller businesses I have reviewed in Italy but it’s still a delicious bargain if you don’t mind queuing! I would recommend for sure. All 4 sandwiches were absolutely delicious and fresh as fresh!!
Well, this place is definitely worth all the hype. There is so much action on this street and its due to this place. The queues dont end easily and once you are inside, you can feel and smell good food around. The service is quick, limited menu but its definitely one of the best places to have sandwiches. Veg options are limited but good. Tried 2 sandwiches here and both were brilliant. Must try.
We waited in line for a while to get our focaccia sandwich, but it was worth it. The wait was pleasant as we chatted with other tourists and enjoyed the atmosphere around us. The smell coming from the shop was amazing and made us even more excited to try the food. Once we got our sandwiches, it was easy to see why the place is so popular. A nice experience overall and a place I would visit again.
All’Antico Vinaio is definitely super hyped, and you can feel it as soon as you arrive. They have three stores right next to each other, each with its own line, all selling the same famous sandwiches. Even with the crowds, the sandwiches were genuinely great. We tried the vegetarian, caprese, and a custom vegetarian sandwich, and yes, they do allow customizations. They also offer beer, wine, and soft drinks. Each store has a few bar stools for around 8 people, but it is almost always busy, so expect more of a quick, casual experience than a relaxed sit-down meal. Overall, it is worth trying if you are in Florence and don’t mind waiting in line.
