Oltrarno Ristorante Toscano
Florence

Spectacular at sunset & dusk! The truffle ravioli fulfilled my Italian dreams and the florentine tbone medium rare was delicious with a side of spinach. Wonderful Chianti Classico. Our waiter was friendly, kind and patient. Recommend 10/10!
Nano was a great server (and very personable). Ordered the truffle ravioli, likely the best ravioli that I’ve had. I also got the meatballs, not too bad. Would absolutely come again. Beautiful atmosphere too. Highly worth the walk out of the city’s direct center.
This is a very cozy dine in restaurant, with outdoor seating. While the menu is very plain in terms of the design, the food options are a wide variety. They have different types of pasta, including steak which is what Florence is known for. The minimum amount you can order is 1.2kg, so it’s recommended to only get it if you have 4 or more people. Free bread is provided as well, and the pasta is very yummy. Our waiter was also really friendly, being able to converse well in English, and even giving us the restaurant cards once we have finished eating. He even provided us with a free shot drink, a lime juice flavour. Would definitely come back here again in the future.
Excellent delicious experience. Everything was perfect. Nice pleasant waiter, delicious pasta, elegant interior, short time of waiting for food, good dessert, beautiful way of serving beverages. Really clean and nice bathroom. It’s close to Ponte Vecchio and really close to Ponte Santa Trinita. Nice terrace with tables outdoor and elegant tables inside. We ate ravioli with tartufo, ricotta, spinach and pesto strozzapreti with dried tomatoes and tiramisu, cheesecake. We drank glass of white wine, water and cold tea. I love this restaurant.
This was our best overall restaurant in Italy. Wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Atmosphere is great, cozy but still takes care of plenty of people and keeps it running smoothly. Food was spectacular and brought us back a second time. Both were dinners, both had great wines, both times were so very much worth the trip. We had florentine steak both times, and had the boar ragu the first time and the pici all’aglione - both were good but the pici was the favorite. We also had the sautéed spinach and one night we got a caprese salad starter. The steak, both times, was so good. Portions were perfect, but had no room for dessert. The steaks are huge, so bring an appetite. We each had a pasta plate and then shared the steaks and it’s a lot of food but splits just fine. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone traveling to Florence to make sure this is on your list.
