We asked to be seated inside and were forgotten. Had to get up to ask to take our order. Food was decent but nothing amazing. The water was tap water in a bottle pretending to have just been opened. We won’t come back.
I’ve had such wonderful experiences at Borgo Antico that I came back for a third time. I first visited a few years ago, and this year I returned with friends before coming back again to bring my family. It’s become a place I know I can always count on. The food is always delicious, with generous portions that are perfect for sharing, and the service is even better. A special thank you to Geraldo, who looked after us on both recent visits. He was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive, and what made our experience even more special was that he remembered us when we returned a few days later. His hospitality truly made us feel welcome. I highly recommend Borgo Antico for both the amazing food and outstanding service. I can’t wait to come back. It’s my go to spot whenever I’m in Florence.
The seasonal menu had some great features; and the risotto on the menu was phenomenal. Great service and and a great place to hang out in Spirito Santo. Oh and the pappardelle was also fantastic!
One of my most favourite meals ever. So worth the splurge! Got the 1kg steak and potatoes, and chilli garlic tomato pasta, and both were phenomenal. Al fresco is a vibe and staff is v friendly and helpful.
We had the best birthday meal at Borgo Antico, the pizza is unreal and the wine excellent. It was so relaxing and the atmosphere just lovely, the staff looked after us and Geraldo was wonderful throughout. Couldn’t recommend this place more, it’s a tradition for us at this point 🍕
