Booked a table for 1, it was a quiet Monday night. Beef carpaccio with apple and cheese fondant was fantastic as well as the fillet steak with green pepper sauce. Good quality beef and cooked to perfection. Panna cotta was one of the best I’ve had. Staff were very good and read the room and interacted with everyone in the restaurant really well. Meti looked after me with a 10/10 service and if I ever come back to Florence I shall definitely come here again. I felt it was appropriately priced for the quality.
Hands down our favorite meal we had during our two week vacation in Italy! I loved everything about this place. The restaurant is elegant & beautiful and the food was outstanding. We sat in the garden which was a lovely setting for enjoying a quiet meal. We started with bruschetta which was perfectly balanced with salt and oil. The bread was flavorful and perfect for soaking up the peppercorn sauce and the sage butter sauce. The filet of beef was cooked to perfection. The cappellacci stuffed with spinach and ricotta was the chef’s kiss. Our waiter was adorable and very nice. I will return to this restaurant any time I come to Florence!
We actually just stumbled upon this gem of a place after seeing our planned lunch spot closed. Boy, Did we luck out! They served the best tasting Hugo Spritz that my wife has had (we sampled a lot!) in Florence. I would like to know what brand of elderflower liqueur they used for it. The Risotto was worth mentioning, the pasta Alle Vongole was fresh, the charcuterie board was very nice as well. The Florentine steak was heavenly! Palm thick!
We had our anniversary dinner here last night and it was such a wonderful experience. Our server, Meti was incredible! He was attentive, knowledgeable and tailored our order to our liking. He very clearly knew the best the region has to offer when it comes to steaks and wine, and he was kind enough to share his knowledge with us. The food was absolutely delicious, the steak melted in our mouth and the added volcanic salt was a perfect touch to complement the tender meat. The value was also unmatched! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence and hoping for a special meal!
Highly recommend Ristorante Dei Rossi! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic, and the atmosphere was great. A special shoutout to our server, Rania, who was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always had a smile. She gave us great recommendations and made our dining experience in Florence truly memorable. 5 stars!
