Wow absolutely amazing. John Travolta pasta experience. Absolutely do it. The owners are the best and they were so accommodating. We tried the bruschetta, pear raviolis, lemon fettuccine and it was amazing 💕 we will be back ❤️🔥
Our experience at Il Profeta was truly special. The food was incredible from start to finish. Every dish was packed with flavor, and you could tell everything was made with care. The truffle pasta was out of this world and the chocolate cake is a must!! We loved all the little samples that kept coming throughout the evening. What really sets Il Profeta apart, though, is the people. From the moment we walked in, Claudio and Martina welcomed us like family and made us feel right at home. A special thank you to Isuka, Jony, and Lauidu for making the night so much fun. The conversations, the laughs, and the genuine hospitality made this so much more than just dinner. This wasn’t just one of our favorite meals in Florence. It was one of our family’s favorite restaurant experiences. Thank you for opening your hearts to our family. We can’t wait to come back!
Service was perfect. We were greeted by the owner with his wonderful sense of humor. The waiter explained the entire menu in detail. The food was excellent. They even gave me a sample of zucchini flowers w ricotta since I mentioned my husband is not Tolerant of ricotta. Everything was fresh and delicious from the olive oil, bread, appetizer, main entree, we both loved the papperdeli with wild boar. And lastly dessert, the tiramisu was outstanding, I don’t really enjoy tiramisu in the states but theirs was creamy and perfectly balanced. Highly rec getting a reservation when in Florence.
We had a great experience - we came accross the restaurant on our way to our hotel. The menu has some typical regional food, which I was after. I had the Florentine tripe, which was deliscious. The other dishes, equally as good, were the tagliatelle limone and wild boar ragu. For starter, the 5 piece bruschetta, zucchini flower etc were recommended. It was so good. I can recommend this restaurant. We were welcomed and service was excellent. A very good surprise to find such a good restaurant with local specialities.
Best pasta and olive oil I’ve ever had! This experience was unmatched from the food, to the wine and the level of service provided. Everyone at the restaurant was SO welcoming, my fiancé and I were cracking up the whole time because the staff and owner were so fun, warm and cracking jokes. The food is spectacular. I’ve traveled all around Italy and this is my favorite restaurant. Must get dishes: bruschetta, pear ravioli, and the “John Travolta Special”. The John Travolta Special was by far the best sauce I’ve ever had. Then to top it off, the tiramisu was unbelievably delicious. Don’t make a mistake by not booking this place in advance for your next trip to Florence.
