The Florence discovery begins with a relaxing and scenic bus tour, that offers panoramic views of the unparalleled beauty of Florence and the surrounding countryside, taking first to Fiesole, a delightful town of Etruscan origin set on a hill overlooking Florence and then, after a drive along the romantic viale dei Colli, up to Piazzale Michelangelo, where you will enjoy one of the most stunning views of the city. The tour will proceed through the old city center with the guided visit of the renowned Accademia Gallery where you can admire the famous David by Michelangelo and other works by the great artist. With your local guide walk along the historic streets of Renaissance Florence until you reach the city’s religious center. In this central square visit the exterior of the Duomo Complex monuments: the Florence Cathedral with the Brunelleschi's Dome, the Baptistery with its bronze doors, including the famous Porta del Paradiso as well as the famous Giotto’s bell tower. If you selected the lunch option your guide will lead you to the restaurant, located a few steps from the Duomo square. The afternoon part begins with a walking tour to the old city center for an exterior visit to the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce. A short walk through the historic streets of the heart of Florence brings you to the famous Piazza della Signoria, where you can admire the imposing Palazzo Vecchio and the beautiful Loggia dei Lanzi. Few steps from the square and you arrive at your last part of the tour: the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most famous museums in the world. Your guide will let you discover the superb paintings of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio.
