Upon arrival in Florence, enjoy a panoramic overview of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Then, head into the town center to admire the church of Santa Croce, where Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli and Rossini are buried. Wander the pedestrian zone to discover the best shopping in town, as well as landmark sites such as the Piazza della Signoria, home to the Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi Museum.
