It was clean, but it definitely didn't look like what was advertised. Rooms are like military barracks or college dorm rooms, loving. Given the volume of visitors to Florence and the location of this building, the management needs to refurbish and/or modernize the rooms; they are in need of maintenance. When I arrived, my room had a very bad, stringy stench. I opened the windows, and luckily, I travel with a small air freshener spray. You better believe I used it. For the money, this type of lodging layout is not worth it. Next, I will pay a few more to stay in an uncomfortable but safe, cleaner place. For my future visit to Florence, Hotel Panorama will not be my choice or one I would recommend to others.
Great experience. When we were there it was quiet for the most part. Room had what we needed and had a great view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Keep in mind that you need to bring euro's for the tax. They don't take card. I wish I knew that ahead of time so I didn't have to pay the ATM fee. Overall, happy with our stay here.
It's really disappointing to see a hotel with so many customers can't even provide a hair shampoo in the bathroom. On my final day, I actually noticed that they've put hand soap instead of hair shampoo inside the container. The breakfast was the worst I've ever seen. The only good thing is the location.
The hotel is located close to the city center in a quiet area. The room had a beautiful view and was cleaned daily. The breakfast offered a wide variety for a small extra charge. The staff were very welcoming, polite, and helpful. I highly recommend it — very good value for money.
