The location is perfect! Less than 5 min from the train station and in the middle of busy streets and yet, it is so quiet inside! The rooms are newer and clean. Modern style. The staff is super friendly. You can walk out and have all the choices you want for cafe, pizzeria and bars. Shopping is all over the busy streets, the Uffizi and Academia are less than 10 min walk. The river is about 15 min walk. Great location!

My family and I recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel Florence, and I can confidently say that it was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. The entire team made us feel valued and cared for throughout our stay, creating an atmosphere that was both comfortable and memorable. What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional customer service. Every request was handled promptly and with a smile, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I had everything we needed. Their kindness, dedication, and willingness to help made a significant difference to our overall experience. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Francesca, Margherita, Alessia, Akira, Simona, Mariia, Diego and Luca for their outstanding support and hospitality. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care for guests are a true credit to the Mercure brand. They transformed a wonderful stay into an exceptional one. The hotel itself was excellent, offering comfortable accommodations, a welcoming atmosphere, and a perfect base from which to explore Florence. However, it was the people who made our stay truly unforgettable. Thank you to the entire Mercure Hotel Florence team for makin

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location to the train station is great and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. It’s very clean, spacious and the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed the complimentary water and coffee. Breakfast is served every morning and although it is fresh, the options are limited. It can get busy in there.

This hotel is all about convenience. It is located extremely close to the main train station, which made logistics with a large family and a tons of heavy luggage much easier. The rooms felt modern, and very clean. You can smell the fresh and aromatic experience when you enter the hotel 5-Star for the front desk service, fast check-in, clear on the policy and tell everything what we need to know as loyalty member. We booked a total of three rooms for our family trip. While two of the rooms were perfect and met every Mercure standard, we had a bit of a below standard experience with the third room. It had extremely low water pressure, where taking a shower was impossible and we also later realized it was also missing basic supplies like toilet paper. By the time we discovered the full extent of these issues, it was very late at night, and we didn't want to disturb the staff further. However, I must commend the staff for their proactive response when we first mentioned the humidity fan noise. They immediately offered a free upgrade to a different floor. We declined the offer because our priority was staying together on the same floor as a family, but I truly appreciated how keen and supportive they were in trying to find a solution. The breakfast area is a bit cozy. It was tiny dining room. However, the quality of the food was good, but not much choices to choose. During peak hours, it can get quite crowded, and popular items like the scrambled eggs and bacon tend to disappear quickly! I truly mean really quick. It take a lot of time to refill them. I think the number of staff in dining room is not match to offer a good service in peak-hour. So, we paid for breakfast and we considered might not worth it. You can find to good breakfast choice in Train station or around 3 minute walk from hotel. This is a travel tip for others. Overall, a solid 4.5-star experience for its location and front deck service.
