Stayed here for one night and had a good experience overall. The hotel is in a really convenient location, close to the train station and within walking distance of the main sights in Florence. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, with a decent selection and enough to start the day. For a short stay, it was exactly what I needed. Would stay here again.
We had a great stay here! We were sceptical because of previous reviews but I can confirm this is an excellent stay A very cosy, traditional vibe and reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly The location is in the centre and walkable to the main sights in Florence
A really lovely hotel, in a convenient location in Florence. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast. Rooms are cozy, but adequate. Our stay was a wonderful start to our Italy vacation. Definitely recommend, we would stay here again
Front Desk: Sneaky. Wanted us to leave passport and come back later. Why?? Deliberately returned less than expected change, hoping we would not notice the short change. Poor bed. They have too much business and don’t care. Be vigilant. Better options close to River.
We stayed in Room 497 for three nights. The reception staff were friendly and had a good sense of humor. We already knew from other reviews that the hotel is old, so we came with the right expectations. The room itself was cleaner than we expected — the floors were spotless, the bedding was well prepared, and it was surprisingly quiet. We slept well, and the bird sounds from outside almost made us feel like we were in the middle of a jungle. The bathroom was okay. The toilet seat definitely needs to be fixed, but we didn’t complain because everything else was satisfactory. Overall, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
