Wow, what a meal! The obligatory bistecca was not cheap, but boy was it delicious. Be mindful that, as in all authentic Florentine restaurants, the steak is cooked very rare. The osso bucco was similarly tasty, but the real standout was the hare pappardelle - rich, creamy and wonderfully balanced.
The selection of meats (in the picture) is great with some wine while chatting with friends. As a main I had the steak with truffles. Melt in your mouth. I work in the restaurant business and this was one of the best steaks I have had ever. My other friend is a head chef in the Montreal area and he loved the Meatballs. Great place for people that want the true Italian experience.
Amazing food, hearty portions with a home cooked feel. My wife and I got the osso buco and the diavolo chicken, both were phenomenal. Not to mention the amazing Ribolitta soup made from the grandfathers home recipe. Service and atmosphere was also perfect. Definitely a must visit - true Tuscany food and experience , not a typical tourist trap restaurant. One of the best restaurants I’ve experienced in our time in Florence.
Super cute restaurant with fantastic food and an amazing atmosphere. My husband got the osso buco which was super tender with a rich hearty sauce. I got the chicken which was a huge portion, cooked perfectly, and was paired with a delicious sauce. The ribollita was to die for as well! Definitely come here!!
The restaurant was recommended by our local host and did not disappoint. The best pasta we ate in Florence. We tried a little bit of each and everything was very tasteful. Quick service and nice staff would definitely come back!
