I came for the wine window. But stayed for Gerti. Ordered several spritz and the customer service was incredible. Gerti provided great recommendations for what to do, where to eat, and best way to get around. Overall wonderful experience.
Oldest wine window in Florence!!! Gerti is absolutely phenomenal!!! You MUST visit, must drink wine, have a limoncello shot, must enjoy yourself in Florence! We enjoyed having drinks with friends with just met from all different places!
Since this nice little restaurant was located so close to our flat, we decided to stop in for dinner, and we are incredibly glad we did! The food we had was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. **The Dinner Spread** We enjoyed a fantastic, authentic meal paired with some great local flavors. **The Bistecca:** The absolute highlight of the night was a massive, perfectly grilled T-bone steak served sliced on a sizzling platter, topped with coarse sea salt and fresh herbs. It was incredibly tender and flavorful. **The Sides:** To accompany the steak, we had a side of perfectly roasted, golden-brown potatoes and a bowl of fresh, beautifully sautéed spinach. **The Pasta:** We also ordered a rich, creamy pasta dish tossed with savory guanciale or pancetta, cracked black pepper, and fresh parsley. The noodles had a perfect al dente chew. **The Wine:** For drinks, we opened a stellar bottle of Tuscan red—an Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot blend which paired beautifully with the rich steak. **The Verdict:** Between the top-notch hospitality and the mouthwatering steak, this local spot is a gem. You won't be disappointed!
The carbonara was incredible! Our server was kind and funny. The atmosphere was amazing. We almost skipped the cheesecake but we are so glad we stayed and ate it. It was delicious
Good food with decent amount of firenze traditional food options. We quickly got hold of a table, and the food arrived pretty fast. Cioppino was really nice with various frutti di mare types. The antipasti plate mix is a must to get to know the essential flavours of Tuscany
