We had a wonderful lunch at Trattoria Boboli after visiting the Boboli Gardens. The homemade pasta was absolutely delicious—fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. It was also a pleasure to cool down in the air-conditioned dining room after the summer heat. The beer was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful people. Highly recommended if you're in the area!
The staff was very kind and respectful, even to a guest who was being difficult. The homemade pasta was very good and I would recommend the pumpkin pasta and the special steak. The seating was a bit packed, but overall a great experience. Very affordable and good music.
Genuinely the best meal I’ve had during my trip in Italy that I had to came back again and try their other menu. Beef tartare was lovely, very tender and juicy. The pici pasta with extra burrata on top was chef’s kiss that I had to get this twice! No notes, perfect. The fillet steak was also lovely and extremely tender. Tried two desserts here, tiramisu and the pistachio tart. Both were AMAZING! All my friends that I went with also agreed that this was the best meal we’ve had on our entire trip. Would absolutely love to come back again whenever I’m in Florence🫶🏻
I had the Pici di Carbonara, "I am ruined! I will never be able to enjoy Pasta Carbonara anywhere else but here!" It is truly extraordinary, it is made with their signature pecorino Romano and cooked in a unique way. We came back the next day, and I ordered it again! Amazing! My husband had the pacchieri with wild boar, twice! The Insalata Toscana with ricotta, cucumbers, red peppers, and red onions on spring greens was also very delicious. The service is fantastic and friendly. We want to make a special mention of Gonzalo, whose service was super personable and welcoming. The second eveni g we were served by Alfonzo, who was also very friendly!Highly recommend! On a scale of 1 - 10 we give it a 20!
My partner and I went here twice on our visit. The first time we sat in the main area and the second time we were in the seating area across the street. The first time was such an amazing experience but unfortunately the second time wasn’t as amazing. The first time I got the “mezzi paccheri piccanti della trattoria” it was absolutely amazing and my partner got the “pici al peposo”, also amazing. We also split the “dolce polenta”, it was sooooo good. I loved that we got to try a variety of things. The second time I got the “mezzi paccheri sul cinghiale” and the “insalata mista”and my partner got the “pici alla Mario 1934” and “ratatouille di verdure”. Both of our noodles were quite undercooked. My salad was just mixed greens and large cherry tomatoes with no dressing, it was fine. The ratatouille was pretty good. It was not what I expected. I was expecting it to be in a swirl and have a sauce but it was more so just grilled vegetables. Overall our first experience was amazing but the second time was good.
