I quite enjoyed my stay at Hotel Lorena. Centrally located, the hotel is easy to reach on foot from S.M. Novella train station and yet is far enough to allow you to immerse yourself in the full Florence experience: cobblestone streets, churches, osterias, wine bars, local goods stores-- the choice is mind boggling. The staff is friendly and prompt, the atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious, which is a deal breaker for me. You can easily explore the city's major sites on foot from the hotel and return still on time to enjoy a drink at the wine bar below. I always felt safe. What's more, the A/C worked great, found extra water in the foyer, bed was comfy, room & RR were clean. In short, I plan on staying again at the hotel when I return to Florence.
My mum and I stayed here for 4 days during our trip to Florence. The hotel is in an excellent location and is run by very friendly people! Despite it being located in a noisy area, we found our room to be quiet and dark at night, and had a very efficient air-con. There aren’t many rooms so the inside of the hotel is also quiet and feels very safe. We could walk to many attractions straight from the hotel, and there are lovely restaurants and bakeries nearby. Would highly recommend, thank you! ☺️
The stay at the hotel was not a very good experience. There was a lift, but it started from the first floor, so we had to drag our heavy bags up to the first floor before we could even use it. The lift itself was very small ,even two people with luggage could barely fit inside. Another major issue was the noise. Since the hotel is located near the busy main road, the rooms were quite noisy, which made it difficult to relax properly. And the worst part was that the washroom was outside the room, which was very inconvenient.
A very authentic hotel in the center of Florence. The interior is unique and bold, which makes the place even more interesting. The staff were extremely friendly and helped me with everything I needed. The room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. You can also leave your luggage even after check-out if you want to continue exploring the city — and it’s free, which is amazing! I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.” If you want, I can make it more luxury-style or more emotional for better impact ⭐
I went to Florence for three days. The people were very kind and apporaching, Signora Sabina is quite memorable and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and you could adjust the temperature. Bathrooms were also satisfactory. Also very close to the city center. Thank you from Greece
