Staff were very polite and helpful, breakfasts were included and they were amazing, especially desserts🤌🏻 Room was clean and comfortable. Near the hotel located groceries and restaurants.
ROOM: our room was spacious, contemporary, and all the fixtures worked nicely. Note however that noise was very noticeable from the stairwell and rooms above. SERVICE: the staff were very friendly, professional, multi-lingual, and customer-focused. Grazie mille!💕 The included breakfast was comprehensive, had many good choices (from eggs, to pastries, to prosciutto, to cereals), and had generous portions. LOCATION: Close enough to cittá vecchia, river, train stations etc — all within 2.5 km walk. (But also far enough away from the 'too-busy' tourist areas and crowds! 😉)
We have just finished our 4 night stay at Hotel Orcagna which we thoroughly enjoyed, our room was very spacious and clean. Our bed was very comfortable and we had a fridge, coffee maker and a small balcony overlooking the courtyard. The shower was powerful and the extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast was delicious. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood and just a 15 minute walk from the local train station. If you want to walk to the city centre I would suggest the river route, it takes slightly longer, but it is much quieter.
This place deserves an 6/5 The service was incredibly friendly and always helped with anything We were also upgraded to a better room at the rooftop, which was very spacious with a balcony with a great view and a jacuzzi Moreover after we checked out we participated in a half marathon and afterwards came back to the hotel to just change clothes. It was already more than an hour after the check out time nevertheless the receptionist offered us to go to a room so we can take a shower!
We stayed in their suite on the fifth floor with the amazing view of the dumo and the Jacuzzi. Don't come here if you can't handle some stairs, they have an elevator but you have a half flight to get to the bottom of the elevator and it tops out on the fourth floor. The service was wonderful the rooms were great and the daily breakfast was amazing and ofteny family ended up just powering through the day with the help of some gelato after such a hearty start! It's a bit out of the center but we enjoyed being able to visit some more local flavors.
