  • Please follow the dress code: clothing should cover the knees and shoulders; sandals, flip-flops, hats, and sunglasses are not permitted; bare shoulders, bare legs, sheath dresses, drawstring/tank tops, and revealing necklines are not allowed; and shorts or skirts must be knee-length or longer. Kindly download the Cathedral Audio App as soon as the instructions are sent on your voucher. You must leave luggage exceeding the permitted dimensions at the Luggage Storage (Piazza Duomo 38/r) before the start time of the visit. The Cathedral is closed to visitors on Sundays and during religious ceremonies. The Opera del Duomo Museum is closed on the first Tuesday of each month for maintenance. The Baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the mosaics on the vault, which are not visible at this time.
