First up, we dive straight into Italian tradition – ever heard of aperitivo? Begin with a visit to an old wine window, the kind Renaissance legends like Michelangelo once frequented for liquid inspiration and a quick bite. Next, we’ll wander to a cozy vinaino on Via dei Neri, a bustling street filled with panini shops, cheese counters, and tempting cured meats. Depending on the season, savor hearty pappa al pomodoro or ribollita, sample local paté, and indulge in flavorful cold cuts. And naturally, there’s a glass of Tuscan wine to complete the moment! Our journey continues to the iconic Ponte Vecchio, the vibrant bridge over the Arno River. Once home to fishmongers and butchers, today it dazzles with artisan jewelers. After soaking up the history, we’ll head into the lively Oltrarno district – where Florence comes to life at night.
