A highlight is the royal fragrance of the Santa Maria Novella Perfumery! In 1533, the monks created an exclusive perfume for Queen Catherine de Medici, marking the beginning of a tradition that continues to this day. This precious essence, known as 'Acqua della Regina' or 'Queen's Water', is still available, allowing everyone to experience the timeless elegance appreciated by royalty. Ponte Vecchio (20 minutes) Next, head to the Ponte Vecchio. Admire and learn about the history of the jewelers and the beautiful views of the River Arno. 4. Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (30 minutes) We head to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
