Incredible place! This is one of the most beautiful hotels in town! It’s an old historic building perfectly and centrally located in the middle of the old town of Florence. Everything is less than 0.5 miles walking distance. Staff is amazing and service is great. When booking, and if you care for a good view, avoid the first level as it has high windows and not too practical.
A must stay/visit!! We want to thank the staff working at Hotel Porta Rossa in Firenze on Saturday, 4 July 2026, who organised tea and cake for us yesterday afternoon. Back in August 1996 we spent our honeymoon in the Hotel Porta Rossa. As it is our 30th wedding anniversary in August 2026, we decided to return to Firenze and visit the hotel. The staff were incredible: the receptionist organized cake, the bar man organized tea and the hall porter took our photo. As we were leaving the hotel, we were presented with a Hotel Porta Rossa gift box. Your staff were so kind and accommodating that we just wanted to thank them. Perfect location, beautiful rooms, and outstanding service—but what I’ll remember most about Porta Rossa Hotel Firenze are the people. Nadine and Antonietta are absolute stars. Nadine, the Manager, has mastered the art of making guests feel both important and completely at ease. Antonietta, the Concierge, seemed to have an answer, recommendation, or solution for everything, always with warmth and enthusiasm. In a city as magical as Florence, it’s easy to be impressed by the surroundings. What surprised us was how much the hospitality at Porta Rossa added to the experience. My stay at Hotel Porta Rossa in Florence was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for by the entire staff. The hotel is beautiful, charming, and perfectly located for exploring the city. A special thank you to Nadine, the manager, whose kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay truly exceptional. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I would also like to thank Antonietta, the concierge, who was incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and helpful. Her recommendations and assistance made our time in Florence even more memorable and stress-free. The level of hospitality at Hotel Porta Rossa is outstanding. We spent three wonderful nights at this hotel and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always eager to help with any requests, making us feel genuinely welcome. The location is superb, with all the main museums, galleries, and attractions just a short ten-minute walk away, making it unbelievably convenient for exploring the area. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
