This is a superb place to stay. Beautiful, historic accommodation, far enough away from the city for it to feel local. There are plenty of local restaurants, if you look on Google Maps. The staff are friendly and attentive and a special mention to Deborah, who provided amazing breakfasts every morning.
Very comfortable & beautiful rooms. The bed was amazing and the AC much appreciated. The bathroom was very clean with great amenities including hair conditioner! Shower was also very spacious. In terms of service, nothing to complain about, very friendly people. Only downside was the breakfast, personally there was nothing desirable to eat at all, so I would recommend to go outside. Lastly the location may be a bit difficult for some. We purposely chose a hotel outside of the ZTL, and there was sometimes a bit of a walk coming and going to the bus stations from/to the city.
My husband and I had a week stay at the Hotel Palazzo Borghini and we were very pleased with our experience. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the courtyard was quaint and inviting, the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, and the location was perfect; outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Florence, but within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend staying here.
An absolutely beautiful and elegant hotel, perfectly located close to the historic center of Florence. Palazzo Borghini offers an authentic Italian atmosphere that feels refined, welcoming, and charming from the very first interaction with their team. The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive to every detail, providing impeccable communication and great understanding during an unexpected travel situation we experienced. It is rare to encounter such a high level of hospitality and genuine respect for guests. The hotel appears to combine the classic elegance of Florence with modern comfort perfectly, and the location is ideal for exploring the city and its main attractions.
Beautiful little boutique hotel in a great spot. Outside of the tourist area of Florence which was welcoming. The best restaurants and cafes with great local shopping around this hotel. Duomo is about 7000 steps from the location. Late night can be a little sketchy feeling but the area is totally safe. A definite return to this hotel is in order.
