Amazing vibes, nice food, and super friendly waitress. This is so far the best resto in Florence in my mind
I went to Alassio for my birthday, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere was amazing, the aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful, and the food was delicious. A special thank you to the lovely girl at the reception who welcomed us and showed us to our table. She was so warm and friendly. Our server, Gabriele, was attentive, professional, and genuinely helped make the evening feel special. Every detail exceeded my expectations and made my birthday celebration truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Alassio and can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Alassio is a beautifully appointed restaurant with a cosy wine bar tucked alongside. Here, the chefs elevate cooking to an art, crafting refined dishes with precision that honour classic recipes while embracing modern techniques and seasonal ingredients. Service is attentive, knowledgeable and effortlessly professional. We were looked after by Ilenia, whose warmth and impeccable hosting made the evening truly memorable. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked to return. Superb in every detail—thank you.
Beautiful restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The service was impeccable and the tableware was elegant. I also liked that the kitchen is open to the dining room, which makes the experience more enjoyable. On the downside, the portions were very small and the quality didn’t fully match the price. It was good, but a bit too expensive for what you get
We have a wonderful experience. We were given the best seat in the house. From the hostess to the waiter, Gabriel, to the manager, it was a great, charming and even romantic experience for our first dinner in Florence. It’s a relatively new restaurant and for a while during our experience we nearly had the entire restaurant to ourselves. We made reservations for 8 pm. We started with the Gratinated Cauliflower which was a scrumptious way to start the meal. I asked for a glass of their Chianti which was smooth, lightly fruity, and a delightfully refreshing accompaniment to dinner. It was so good I’m going to purchase some bottles to take home for our own cellar. I had to have the Florentine steak. I read it was famous and the chef’s version did not disappoint. We had enough to take back to our hotel to enjoy over the next couple of days. It was flavorful and perfectly seasoned with hints of sage and rosemary. They were even kind enough to call us a taxi back to our hotel as promised. A true five-star experience! Bravissimo! Grazie!
