Their pasta, Mamma Mia! I loved the Oil and Truffle Fettuccine. But everything else was delicious. Service was great, but our table was tight, not in a negative way, because it contributed to a cozy, intimate dinner.
The owner is confident and knows what he does. I had three Bistecca during my stay in Florence and this is the best one. It’s a bit chewy depending on which parts you are getting. Perhaps not as soft as some ladies would have preferred? But the flavour is the bomb. So good!
The waiters were immensely attentive and I had the pear tortellini and the wild boar ragu and both were so delicious. I had never had pear and pecorino before but with the balsamic it was beautifully balanced and I inhaled both plates of pasta. Truly a fantastic experience!! I was just one person and they sat me down and it was truly such a delightful experience!! Thank you so so much!
We really liked this place. First of all, we didn’t have to wait to be seated — we were shown to our table right away, which made a great first impression. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable, not overpriced like you often find elsewhere. The best part, though, was the staff. The service was fast, and the waiters were very attentive and polite. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would gladly come back again.
Last night we were looking for a nice place to eat, since it was later on in the evening and we came upon Bottega Di Fattoria -Trattoria Toscana. As soon as I saw that they served Florentine steak I knew I was sold lol We had a wonderful dinner in this nice quiet little restaurant. The two gentlemen who were serving us were fantastic and very polite and and maturate that much better. I’m really sorry. I only ended up getting one of the servers names, Teo! He was great. The Florentine steak was everything that I imagined. Being an Alberta boy and eating steak every single day, this steak was just as good or better than anything I had back home. I did have to laugh because the waiter did tell me the steak is too big for one person lol. Finished it with no problem and probably could’ve ate another one lol My wife ended up having cheese Gnocchi that she really liked. The service was great, the food came out so quick which actually really surprises me on how fast it is compared to Canada. The food is off the scale. Definitely would recommend this place for anybody to come in and try. Thank you very much Teo, and the staff. You made our night wonderful.
