My husband and I are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem near the bridge! We arrived around 6:00 PM and were seated at a lovely table by the window. As first-timers with Italian steak, we really appreciated the manager, Aldo, who took the time to patiently and professionally explain the different cuts. His passion for his work was obvious, and the steak absolutely lived up to the hype—perfectly seared with a crispy crust and tender, juicy meat. Aldo even thoughtfully offered to warm the steak up if it cooled down. The rest of the staff were just as welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere is unmatched; the building used to be a church, featuring gorgeous painted ceilings. By 8:00 PM, both the indoor and outdoor tables were full, which speaks to how fantastic it is. Highly recommended if you're looking for an incredible steak near the bridge!
The food was absolutely amazing. It was one of the best steaks we’ve ever had, especially for the price. The steak was incredibly tender, cooked perfectly, and clearly of excellent quality. The staff member with the long black curly hair was fantastic and exactly what you would expect in a restaurant like this: welcoming, professional, and friendly. Our own waiter, a man with shorter black hair, was also excellent—very polite, attentive, and helpful throughout the evening. Unfortunately, there was one staff member who made the experience a little less enjoyable. He had short blonde hair and didn’t give off a friendly or hospitable impression. Aside from that, everything was excellent. The food was outstanding, and the rest of the staff were professional and welcoming. Aside from that it has been a perfect experience.
The is one of the best steaks I have ever had, and I’m from the Southwestern United States. The service was exceptional and the owner Lisjen was extremely friendly. Valentino was our server and I would love to have him again. If you want a ridiculous cut of meat, you have to come in. It is a bit pricey but you are getting what you pay for. Every bite was a 12/10.
What a gem! This is hands down the best meal we’ve had in Florence. Orgito was so knowledgeable, explained everything about the steaks, helped us make a great choice! It was truly melt in your mouth. Him and Mark made our evening so special, even playing with our infant when she got restless. The steak was the chef’s choice and it was 10/10, the black salt was such a nice touch! The spaghetti with clams and lime was delicious! The lime zest really brings out the salt water from the clams 10/10. The truffle pasta was so so good 10/10. The beef tartar with burrata 10/10 and Orgito made it extra special by plating it so elegantly for us since we were sharing it. If you’re in Florence, do not miss this restaurant!
Ristorante dei Rossi is one of finest restaurant in Florence. T-bone is super juice with black lava salt are a march made in heaven. Definitely going back for more and the manager Aldo is super friendly. He patienly explains the meal. Highly recommend restaurant in Florence. p.s manger Aldo give a discount.
