We had an absolutely fantastic stay and couldn’t have wished for a better place to explore Florence. From the very beginning, the communication with Carmine was simply exceptional. He was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful, making everything effortless from check-in to departure. The rooms are modern, spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make guests feel at home. We were especially touched by the generous welcome treats, including wine, beer, sweets, and other thoughtful surprises that made us feel truly appreciated. A special highlight was the delicious breakfast served at the associated café on the ground floor. The selection was excellent, the quality outstanding, and the staff were just as warm and welcoming. It was the perfect way to start each day before exploring the beautiful city of Florence. The entire property is spotless, comfortable, and furnished to a very high standard. You can immediately tell that Carmine and his team genuinely care about providing an exceptional guest experience and making every guest feel special. Thank you, Carmine, for your incredible hospitality and for making our family stay so memorable. We would return without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a perfect stay in Florence. Five stars are simply not enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very lovely B & B! Fabulous location, rooms were fantastic, plenty of floor space, ample storage, feels entirely remodeled and all bright and feels high-end. Definitely recommend! Carmine the host is very gracious, friendly, professional, provided many recommendations and suggestions catered to it our goals. AC is amazing, perfect for the heat wave while there, soundproof rooms and the high ceilings and tall windows extra special, great natural light and spaciousness. Bottle of wine and local Firenze chocolates were nice extra local touch. i will return to this lovely gem!
My family and I recently stayed in B&B Lorenzo de Medici. From the moment we arrived the host Carmine was completely accommodating, polite, and welcoming. The B&B was clean, comfortable and perfectly located for exploring the city. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our stay was Da Carmine Bistrot which was conveniently located next to the B&B. The bistrot was charming, the coffee and breakfast were delicious, and the service was excellent. It was the perfect spot to start each morning before heading out to see the sights. Lorenzo and his staff were friendly, responsive, and provided great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Over all, this was a fantastic place to stay, I highly recommend it, and we would happily return on our next trip to Florence.
I can't say enough about the service at this B&B. The owner/manager went out of his way to make sure we had all we needed to make our stay a nice one including seeing that our laundry was done. The rooms are pretty basic, but had all we needed and were clean. They cleaned the room and bathroom each day of our stay and made sure we had fresh towels. The location is in the heart of the Central Market so a lot of activity and a little distance to walk to all of the Florence attractions, but very doable. It was a quiet place! The owner was very reachable to help us with any questions or to make suggestions. He also owns the restaurant next door which served a delicious breakfast. I would caution that there is no elevator here and there were numerous stairs, but the owner helped us upon arrival and departure to move our luggage. Thanks for a nice stay!
We loved the location, close to the train station, across from the central market, and a short walk to all of the main historic attractions. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolates in our room. The room was modern, spacious, and very clean. The owner Carmine was wonderful, helping with our luggage, offering great restaurant options, and arranging our taxi to the car rental. We loved one restaurant (Trattoria Maga Magò) he suggested so much we went 2 nights in a row. The breakfast was really nice and conveniently located below the rooms. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back.
