Trattoria Zà Zà
Florence
Beoordelingen
Exceptional restaurant in every way. The service is great, we appreciated Marina who was so nice and helpful. The food was great. The ambiance was so relaxing, with french songs playing in the background… the house wine was great, and very affordable. Portion size was generous. Highly recommended. A must try.
The Florentine grilled steak was absolutely amazing. And the Caprese salad — we were amazed how they could make such a simple dish taste so incredibly delicious. The restaurant’s interior was also unique and had its own special character. It’s better to make a reservation in advance, but we went during a less busy time, so we didn’t have to wait. The olive oil served before the meal was also their own special blend, and it was delicious. We ordered rosemary potatoes as a side dish with the steak, and they were unbelievably tasty as well. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
Trattoria Zà Zà gave me the best dining experience I had during my entire stay in Florence. The calamari was easily the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked, tender, and incredibly flavorful. The calamari carpaccio was unlike anything I’ve ever tried and was absolutely amazing. The pasta was hands down the best pasta I’ve ever had in my life, and I know I’ll be chasing that flavor for years to come. Even the bruschetta was incredibly fresh, and the steak was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The restaurant itself has such a warm, classic Italian atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re experiencing authentic Florence. Everything we ordered came out beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. My waiter was also the best waiter I could have asked for, friendly, attentive, and made the entire meal even more enjoyable. This restaurant absolutely deserves all of the hype it gets. If the wait had been 12 hours, I honestly would have stayed because the food was that unforgettable. If you’re visiting Florence, Trattoria Zà Zà is a must-visit. It gave me the best meal of my trip, and I’ll never forget it.
We truly enjoyed our dinner here. I ordered the Truffled Gorgonzola creamy Gnocchi topped with fresh truffle which was cooked to perfection. The pasta was soft and the sauce was creamy and very rich. My husband ordered the salmon, roasted potatoes and vegetables which he enjoyed. We arrived around 6pm on Sunday with no reservations and sat down right away. But we walked back by later in the evening and there was a long line to get in so I’d recommend making a reservation.
Even we had a booking still we wait for 15 minutes the was tasty Trattoria Zà Zà for dinner, and overall, it was a highly memorable dining experience that lives up to much of its vibrant reputation. The restaurant boasts an incredibly lively, warm, and authentic atmosphere that immediately welcomes you the moment you walk through the door. The decor, the bustling energy, and the classic Tuscan charm create a perfect 5-star environment for a relaxed evening out. The absolute highlight of the night was the food. Every dish served was exceptionally flavorful, fresh, and expertly prepared. From the rich local textures to the authentic seasoning, the culinary team deserves full credit—the food is undeniably a 5-star experience and easily the main reason to visit. However, there was a slight bump in the evening regarding organization. Despite having a confirmed booking in advance, we still had to wait for about 15 minutes before being seated at our table. While a short delay is understandable given how incredibly popular and busy the venue is, it is something to keep in mind if you are on a tight schedule. Fortunately, once we were seated, the service picked up well. The staff worked hard to manage the high volume of guests, and their attentiveness throughout the rest of the meal was commendable, earning a solid 4 stars. If you are planning a visit, I highly recommend making a reservation, but be prepared for a brief wait at the door. The outstanding food and fantastic ambiance make it entirely worth it!
