Fantastic spot right in Piazza del Duomo with great food, a beautiful view and attentive staff. The only thing that didn’t fully meet our expectations was the Aperol. Otherwise, a wonderful experience!
Osteria del Fiore served the best lasagna I have ever had. The flavor was incredible, but what truly stood out was the pasta itself, so soft and delicate that you barely needed a knife to cut through it. Every bite was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. We also enjoyed the Carbonara and the Gnocchi al Pomodoro, both of which were excellent. Combined with the warm atmosphere and attentive service, this was a memorable dining experience. If you’re near the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, do yourself a favor and stop here. The lasagna alone is worth the visit.
Such a lovely place! The staff were so welcoming and attentive, the service was smooth, and the food was really good. We enjoyed everything and would happily come back again.
A true Florentine gem right in the heart of the city. The pizza was amazing, very crispy crust and fresh ingredients. Then flop of the pizza wasn’t there and every bite was delicious. So far it’s the best pizza I’ve had here so far. Will definitely be going back again. They also have a liter a beer which is amazing.
We visited Osteria del Fiori with a group of friends while looking for a central and quick lunch option on Christmas Day. The restaurant is literally next to the Duomo, right in the heart of Florence, and we were welcomed with smiles from the very beginning. The overall experience was very positive. The staff was extremely kind, professional, and helpful, assisting us with the menu and even offering to move us to a better table with a nicer view once one became available (although we chose to stay where we were). The food was quite tasty and all the dishes we ordered were good choices — everyone in our group was satisfied. The only exception was the pizza, which was a bit average compared to the rest of the dishes. We also tried tiramisu, which was very enjoyable. Prices are on the higher side, likely due to the prime location next to the Duomo, and they could be slightly more reasonable. That said, I would still visit again. Thank you for the great hospitality, and Merry Christmas!
