Oh my goodness, such a wonderful little authentic Italian restaurant that turned out to be one of our favorite lunches of our 2-week trip through Italy. It is also very convenient to the Santa Croce Basilica. Every single one of the staff spoke wonderful English and provided outstanding service. We had a variety of dishes, but I think the standout was the gnudi. The wine was delicious, we all enjoyed espressos after lunch, and as we got ready to depart, one of the servers offered us all limoncello on the house. Highly recommend that you find time to enjoy a nice meal at this trattoria.
If you’re trying to look for a place to eat in touristic Florence, please don’t skip this one. The food was absolutely amazing, we’ve tried a few different dishes from meat, pasta, and risotto and all of them were honestly amazing. The staff was so hospitable that elevated our experience to another level- we had a 4 year old child with us and they got his food ready straight away while we decided and waited. Really enjoyed our meal here and if we’re ever be in Florence again, we will definitely come back!
Pizza was incredible, THE BEST WE HAD IN ITALY. Tiramisu was unique and perfect. Service was excellent, very friendly and took time to have a chat, restaurant is beautiful - we wish we had found this place on our first night and we would have returned daily!
I had the Ossobuco aka veal shank stew which was genuinely to die for. My sister had a margherita pizza - this felt like authentic, genuine Italian food. She said it tasted very fresh. Very good value for money and the best meal we have had on our trip to Italy. The staff are also wonderfully friendly and knowledgable of the menu.
We had such a blast at the restaurant! The food was exceptional, the service was warm and thoughtful, and the atmosphere felt so homely and welcoming. Shoutout to Claudio, who served us so kindly and made it such a wonderful night here in Florence! (Focaccia as appetizer is so generous and gooooood)
