What a great little hidden gem. Gabriel is amazing. He made sure we had the best experience. He recommended a couple dishes and spoke highly on the prawns. We wanted to try all three but it would’ve been too much to finish. Gabriel was so sweet and accommodating, he offered to turn the prawn dish into a starter. If I’m ever back in Florence I will 100% come back.
We had an excellent meal here. We arrived shortly after opening and were the first there. The menu offers many unique options we haven't seen elsewhere in Italy yet. We enjoyed some wine and beer with our meal. It is a rather small restaurant but has a charm to it. We are staying outside of the central area so this made a good 25 minute walking option and was well worth the effort. We ordered way too much food and we're stuffed by the end. Though we didn't have it, a few other tables had the steak Florentine and it looked excellent. The place was nearly full when we left. Highly recommend.
Ok, reviewing as an American.... the service, great.. the food Fabulous!.. atmosphere, NO. was looking for a romantic restaurant for our 25th anniversary trip. Again, was the food good.. YES... atmosphere was crap... walls and tables OSB or plywood.... but dang the food was great as was our host / waiter.
