Came across this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The waiter spoke wonderful English and made us most welcome - grazie. Best minestrone soup weโ€™ve ever had. Seafood risotto and lasagna very authentic. Will definitely dine there again during our holiday.

Wow! What a perfect experience, from food to service to ambience! Our Albanian server gave us the best service in Italy. Grazie! He was kind, quick and answered questions with a smile and wisdom - I cannot recommend this place enough! The homemade pasta and the decor make it even more worth visiting. Cristina has created the best restaurant in Florence! Bellissima!!!

Nice place to eat, with tables outside. I was with 2 my small kids. We ordered risotto fungi porting, gnocchi and seafood pasta. Risotto was good, with a kit of mushrooms. Though portion was not very big. For me it was OK, but for some people might be a disappointment. Pasta was very spicy. With a lot of seafood. But fish pieces were also with bones, which is not good for children. Also nobody told me that it is so hot, considering an order for children. Also toilet is not good for small children: no seat, an opening is too big. Toilet was one of the reason to stay there as kids need it, but it is not really suitable for small girls. Coperto is 3โ‚ฌ per person.

Trattoria OK felt like one of those places you stumble into and end up really glad you did. We were pulled in by the chef, who greeted us from the window like she walked straight out of central casting, and told us the food was good. She wasnโ€™t wrong. The place has personality, warm, a little quirky, and genuinely welcoming. The staff was engaging and funny, and made us feel included from the moment we sat down, not like tourists passing through, but like we belonged there. I had the pasta with shrimp, which was excellent. Simple, fresh, and exactly what it should be. This isnโ€™t a polished, high-end experience, and thatโ€™s the point. Itโ€™s authentic, lively, and memorable. Definitely going on my recommended list.

Stopped here for lunch before lโ€™Accademia and loved everything about this restaurant. We sat outside (lovely!) and I had the chicken and roasted potatoes and my daughter had the steak. The insalata caprese was so fresh and delicious.
