Okay food, okay service at a very premium price. If it was better it would have more Michelin stars. Food frequently felt like it was trying too hard (ie. gold flakes on top), it was not perfection it was pretty on the plate but not once you eat it. We had the 9 course dinner and the best thing we ate all night were the complementary appetizers. The service was lacking. They would often only explain the dish while talking directly to me in a quiet voice I could barely hear while my fiancé sitting across from me would be straining over the table to catch any explanation and frequently would not. If this dinner was €100-150 it would be more realistic and in line with the experience but we ended up with about €250 per person. I suggest saving up a bit more and going to a true fine dining experience at a restaurant with more stars.
Uh, this place is awesome. My wife and I came for our anniversary and we both couldn’t be more happy. The service was incredible with them explaining all of the courses and the backgrounds in any wine we chose. Every dish was layered with flavor. You start by tasting one part of the dish, then it walks you through all the tastes in layers until the end. Cannot quite put it into words. The only word I can say is incredible, everything was incredible from the view, to the service, to the exquisite food, to the knowledge of every dish. I am so happy my wife and I spent our anniversary here. Just incredible.
I celebrated my birthday at Ristorante Villa Fiesole and it truly made the day unforgettable! The food was exceptionally good — beautifully prepared, thoughtful, and full of flavour. Every dish felt carefully composed and a pleasure to enjoy. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. They kindly arranged a very private table for me and even opened the windows to make up for the terrace being closed, which created a lovely, bright atmosphere. It’s rare to feel so genuinely cared for in a Michelin restaurant, and they made my birthday feel truly special. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Florence.
My wife and I ordered 3 course lunch but we had almost 9 courses including welcome appetizers and deserts. Such an excellent view in which you can see the entire city of Florence from your table. Food and service were both exceptional. They have a huge wine list and wine pairing recommendation was excellent. I strongly recomment this place if you visit Florence and want to experience next-level fine dining experience.
