We spent a wonderful evening with Salvatore, Antonella, and their very talented team. We started with their seasonal negroni created by Luca, which he changes monthly, for july, it is strawberry! We had the tasting menu Terrae and Maree, consisting of 3 fish/seafood dishes and 3 meat dishes. All ingredients are sourced from within tuscany. Each dish was beautifully prepared, very creative, and most importantly, delicious. This is certainly not the average hotel restaurant, and I would encourage guests to enjoy an aperitif on the rooftop terrace followed by a beautiful meal and attentive service. The experience was our favourite meal in Florence
What can I say? Terrae was the perfect gift to myself for a pre-birthday dinner while travelling solo in Florence. I chose the Maree tasting menu with wine pairing and was completely blown away by the creativity of the dishes and the quality of the seafood. Every course was fresh, beautifully prepared and incredibly succulent. What impressed me most was how balanced everything felt. Nothing was heavy or overly rich, allowing each ingredient and flavour to shine through. From start to finish, the food was exceptional, the wine pairings thoughtful, and the service both warm and impeccable. Overall, this was one of the most memorable dining experiences of my trip and a wonderful way to celebrate the occasion. A meal I'll be thinking about long after I've left Florence.
While staying at the Tivoli we ate from the Bistrot Menu, our first night and everyone loved it after a long day of travel. I had the tortellini with braised beef. It was so good that the next night, the our group voted to stay in the hotel for dinner so that they might also get the tortellini!!! I got the catch of the day which was also very good.
