We booked 2 rooms for 2 families. One room was considerably larger than the other. I was disappointed initially, however Leiann was proactive in compensating the difference with free mini bar service. I want to extend the appreciation for acknowledging my disappointment and providing compensation. It showed a profession level of accommodating customer experience. Thank you Leiann. There was no question or query that was unanswered. You proved a service that enhanced my experience in Florence. I will definately come back here if I'm fortunate enough to travel to Florence once more.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service we received was truly exceptional and went far beyond our expectations. Whenever we needed information, guidance, or assistance, the staff were always kind, patient, and genuinely eager to help. Their warmth, professionalism, and sincere willingness to go the extra mile made us feel truly welcome and cared for. I like my sight-seeing historical, but my accommodations modern: this was an absolutely phenomenal hotel. The rooms were spot clean, the linens and decor crisp and inviting, the view not to be believed. I was pouring through hotels, but when I finally found this hotel, it was a breath of fresh air. The breakfast was thoroughly yummy (take a pastry with you for the road), the bread fresh, and with an indulgent sampling of cheeses to try - among all kinds of fruit and eggs, hams, cold cereals, etc. The lovely staff kindly make you any kind of coffee you like, and it was delicious. The front desk staff were nothing short of welcoming and accommodating, whether it was helping me navigate upon arrival, calling me a cab, answering questions when I phoned from my room, or suggesting places to eat (shout out to Da Michele's pizzeria, which lets you take away). Not knowing Florence well, I wasn't sure what the location would be like - for those who know Paris, it reminds me of the Left Bank - a bit over the top with tourist stores and restaurants, BUT Globus hotel feels like a quiet hideaway, a step away from the hustle and bustle - and very centrally located, which made walking everywhere easy (San Lorenzo leather merchants 5 min; Centrale Market, perfect for an arrival meal 5 min; Duomo 10 min, Uffizi and Ponte Vechhio 15 minutes). Thank you for the lovely stay, will 100% come here again.
Stayed here for 6 nights and honestly it was amazing. I’d 100% stay here again if I’m ever back in Florence. The location is so good—super close to the train station, which was a lifesaver after a long travel day. It’s also right next to Mercato Centrale, which made it really easy to grab a quick but actually good dinner. And you’re just a few minutes from the Medici Chapel and the Duomo, so everything felt super convenient. The free breakfast came in clutch, especially because it wasn’t just pastries—they actually had protein options which made a big difference before long days out. Also, all of the staff were amazing. Everyone was so nice and helpful the whole time, which really made the stay even better. Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic stay at the Globus Urban Hotel! The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Florence—just a 5-minute walk from the central train station and the magnificent Duomo, and only a minute away from the vibrant Mercato Centrale. The hotel is surrounded by countless shops and cafes, putting the best of the city right at your doorstep. Our room was very clean and modern, with a super comfortable bed. We loved the fun, unique touch of being able to change the color of the bathroom light! The breakfast was also great, with plenty of delicious options. A special thank you to Jasmine, who was so welcoming and took the time to ensure we were settled in comfortably. Her kindness really made our stay memorable. Highly recommended!
