Absolutely incredible food. We had a Seafood risotto, gnocchi with sage and basil butter, seafood linguini, octopus linguine and seafood medley. All of the dishes were outstanding with incredible flavour. This was definitely the best quality food that we had in Florence. It was an absolute delight.
Absolutely delicious meal! Some of the best food we’ve had in Florence! The linguini with sea bass was absolutely out of this world. The sauce was special. Also got the Vesuvio pizza, the flavors are amazing
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful seafood dinner at Principe del Mare in Florence. The food was exceptionally fresh, especially the fish and seafood dishes, and everything was prepared with great care and flavor. The atmosphere was pleasant, relaxing, and truly Italian. A special thank you to Fares, who was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. His recommendations were excellent, and he made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for authentic seafood in Florence with outstanding service, Principe del Mare is definitely worth visiting. We will be happy to return on our next trip to Italy!
Fantastic seafood restaurant. After many attempts of trying seafood pasta in Florence and leaving disappointed I finally got what I wanted here. It was amazing! Generous amount of seafood (clams, calamari, mussels, shrimps, fish pieces), good quality of pasta itself and tasty sauce organically combining tastes together- it was Fantastic. My friend had swordfish with orange here. It was fresh, fairly priced, but flavor-vise loosing to pasta. Overall, prices here are good. House wine was ok. We also liked the service: it gives vibes of a family restaurant where they care about customers. One of the best services in Florence we experienced.
Che incredible! Everything was extraordinary but the tagliatelle with prawns and the shrimp tartare were a religious experience. Florence isn’t know for seafood and this place does it better than anywhere I’ve been. It’s weird to compare it to Japan, but the quality of seafood and flavor is all the way up there. Truly a gem that must be experience while in Florence, and the staff was lovely and had the best recommendations. Truly exceptional!
