The guided tour of the Synagogue and the Jewish Museum of Florence offers a unique opportunity to discover one of the city's most fascinating cultural and spiritual realities. Through a rich and evocative itinerary, we'll retrace the history of the Synagogue from its construction to the present day, focusing on its architectural and symbolic elements and delving into the fundamentals of Jewish ritual life. The first and second floors of the museum will illustrate the history of the Florentine Jewish community: from the 16th-century ghetto period, through the Emancipation, to the events of the Second World War. The exhibition rooms will lead you to discover Jewish holidays, the cycle of life, and the fundamental stages of Judaism, narrated through precious ritual objects, documents, and testimonies.
