Cappelle Medicee - Medici Chapels Museum

The Medicean Chapels Museum is especially famous for the Sacristy designed by Michelangelo for the tombs of Lorenzo and Giuliano de' Medici, creating one of the masterpieces of architecture and sculpture of the Italian Renaissance.
The Chapel of the Princes is a grandiose octagonal chapel, with its immense dome entirely faced with polychrome marble and precious stones.
Visiting hours - Daily: 8:15am-1:50pm - The ticket office closes at 1:20pm
From 22 March to 1 November 2011 and from 26 December to 7 January 2012:
Daily 8:15am - 4:50pm - The ticket office closes at 4:20pm.
Closed on the 2nd and 4th Sunday and 1st, 3rd and 5th Monday of each month, New Year’s Day, May 1st and Christmas Day.
