Description
We meet at the facade of Santa Maria Novella and start the city tour here. We learn about the city's patricians, such as the Rucellai, the Ginori, the Antinori, the Strozzi, the Medici, Vespucci and the Pazzi, each at their relevant places in the city's history. Graves, churches, shops, street names and palazzi are contemporary witnesses of the Renaissance. We also see the cathedral, the town hall and the old bridge.
The city tour ends again at Santa Maria Novella, where you can finally visit the famous Dominican pharmacy.
Please equip yourself with weatherproof clothing (rain, sun) and running shoes and bring a water bottle.
